What we do
We quote, proof and print food paper with your name on it: greaseproof sheets, wax and paraffin paper, glassine, butcher's freezer paper, loaf tin and tray liners, and wraps and bands for soap. Every run carries the buyer's own artwork in one to four food-safe colours.
Our customers are the people who pass food over a counter. Chip shops wrapping a large cod, bakeries lining a 2 lb tin, butchers wrapping a joint for the freezer, delis cutting cheese, cafés folding a sandwich, soap makers keeping oil off a label.
The team is small on purpose. Whoever answers your first email usually prices the job, checks the proof and books the courier, so you never explain the same thing twice.
What we do not do
There is no price list. A one-colour run of 1,000 kraft sheets and a four-colour run of 50,000 white sheets have nothing in common except the paper, so each request gets its own written quote within one working day.
We print on paper only. Plastic film, foil, cartons and sticky labels are other trades, and if your packaging needs one of them we say so instead of stretching.
There is no trade counter and no collection. Every order is delivered, tracked and free, to a UK mainland address. We also never skip the proof, even for a reorder in a hurry, because a proof costs nothing and a reprint does not.
How a job runs
You send four things: the paper, the size in millimetres, the colour count and the quantity. A logo file and a photo of the item help. We reply with a written quote; if you accept it, the proof follows with your artwork at true size.
Ask for proof changes as many times as you need. When you approve it, we raise an invoice in pounds sterling, print the job in 4–6 working days and deliver it tracked in 2–3 working days more.
If a carton turns up damaged or the print differs from the proof, photograph it inside 10 days and it is reprinted or refunded. The delivery and lead times page walks through each stage with its timing.
What we print on
Greaseproof for anything hot and oily: a burger under the pass lamp, a tray of fried chicken, a portion of chips. Dry wax and paraffin for sandwiches, cheese and sliced meats that stay cool on the counter.
Glassine for biscuits, fudge and anything that must not stick or show grease. Freezer paper for the butcher's chest freezer and the farm shop. Pre-formed liners for loaf tins, baking trays and air fryer baskets.
Each paper page lists four typical sizes and a weight range, and any other size is cut to order. The full list of papers sets the typical sizes side by side so you can compare before you ask.
Why we quote in writing
A written quote fixes the paper, weight, size, ink count, quantity and delivery before any money moves. It is the document you check the invoice against, and the one we check the proof against.
It also keeps us honest. Paper prices move, and a figure given over the phone on Monday may not hold on Friday. A dated quote holds for the period printed on it.
If you would rather see your logo on the paper before you ask, use Design Your Greaseproof Paper. Drop the logo on a real photo of a sheet, size it and send the picture with the request; the proof starts from there.
