Quotes and acceptance
Every job starts with a written quote. It sets out the paper, weight, size, ink colours, quantity, delivery and the price in pounds sterling, and it holds until the date printed on it.
You accept by replying to the quote or confirming on the form. That acceptance creates the order under these terms; nothing else on this site is an offer to sell.
If the specification changes after acceptance, a replacement quote is issued and the new one applies.
Proofs and approval
After acceptance you receive a free design proof as a PDF. You can ask for unlimited changes, and nothing goes to press until you approve the proof in writing.
The approved proof is the agreed artwork. Spelling, numbers, colour names and position on it are your responsibility and print exactly as shown.
Ink and screens differ. The Pantone references on the proof govern, not the colours on your monitor.
Invoicing and payment
The invoice is raised when the proof is approved. Invoices are in pounds sterling and show the amount from the quote, any agreed change and the due date.
Production is scheduled against the invoice as stated on it, and late payment may hold back dispatch.
Production and lead time
Production takes 4–6 working days from proof approval, counted in working days rather than calendar days, and begins once the invoice is dealt with as agreed.
Any press runs slightly over or under. We supply the quoted quantity as closely as the run allows and tell you about any shortfall.
Delivery to UK mainland addresses
Delivery is free and tracked to one UK mainland address, normally 2–3 working days after dispatch. We do not deliver beyond the UK mainland. Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith, and a late delivery does not cancel the order.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Check the cartons when they arrive; the delivery and lead times page covers packing and tracking.
Reprints and refunds within 10 days
A misprint, damage, short count or wrong paper must be reported within 10 days of delivery, with photos. We then reprint the affected cartons or refund them in pounds sterling, whichever you and we agree suits.
Printed paper is made to order, so there is no right to return it for a change of mind. Errors on an approved proof, colour shift within trade tolerance and damage after delivery are outside the policy. The reprints and refunds page gives the steps.
Artwork rights and food-contact use
All rights in your artwork stay with you. You confirm you are entitled to use it, and you grant us a licence to print it for your order and keep it on file for reorders.
The papers are supplied for wrapping and lining food as described on their product pages, within the heat ranges stated. Choosing the right paper for your food and your process is your responsibility.
Limits of liability and governing law
Our liability on any order is limited to a reprint, or a refund of the invoiced amount for the affected paper. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profit or other indirect loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is found invalid, the rest stand.
Personal details are handled as described in the site privacy policy.
